Sorry for my bad english language. I m trying to be more comprehensible.

 

 

 

I thought it was a clause in the agreement or a law about that.

 

 

 

I think the landlord can undestand that our quiet enjoyement of our home will be disturbed by viewings although we still pay the whole rent.

 

 

 

It is always disturbed to have strangers in our home, without wishing it.

 

But before moving out, it is worst.

 

I began to pack, some of our stuff are in opened boxes, we have valuable items and confidential documents and this week, I will begin to clean the flat.

 

 

 

I know that an agent can not every move of the prospective tenants. So what could we do if an item disappears or is broken or if the carpet is stained?

 

Not to mention the embarrassment of everybody, ours and potentials tenants '.

 

 

 

We would like to be cooperative but we are in london, a raisonnable flat offer don t stay in the market than a few days.

 

 

 

We would like to be cooperative as much as the landlord.

 

So could you give us a law which explain us the conditions of viewings after giving notice?

This letter/mail doesn't make sense at all.If you could write it in french, i will be happy to translate it for you and also give you sound and safe advice about contracts especially in property's matters.

Rule number 1:you should never ever go close to an agency to rent a flat or a room for the simple reason that they are ALL crooked.

If you buy a flat or a house,they (the agency) will charge the two parties involved (the buyer and the seller).This is legal.

But if you rent,you have to pay your fees monthly or weekly to the agency and you can be sure if the landlord is asking for £150 weekly's rent,the agency will charge you £160/170.This practice is illegal because the agency made you pay already a fee at the beginning just to register you,right?

Explain to me your situation in french to straighten out this problem for you.

Je pense que le proprio peut comprendre que " our quiet enjoyement of our home will be disturbed" ( expression que j ai peche sur un forum de proprio) par les visites, alors que nous payons toujours la totalite de notre loyer.

To start with,i will say don't mention your first ligne about "the law" because the agent will look at it as a treath and will strive (s'acharner.)

Then have a look at the contract,does it mention that the agent is allowed to have future lodgers (i.e. visitors) to visit the flat before your departure,if not just send him to hell and there is nothing he can do (law wise).

But it will be wise to accept the fact that landlords and their agents can actually allow visitors(with discretion of course) to get access to your flat as long as they don't disturb your privacy and if you feel that your flat is turning like Victoria's station just allow him,say, half an hour a day.And if he doesn't subcribe with this option just drop in at your nearest police's station to make a complaint and tell them that he is abusing your rights and your privacy by bringing in people many times daily.

It is normal that the agent will preassure you because he wants to find someone suitable as soon as you get out,it is a question of timing for the agency and you know that time is money.

You are making a big meal out of nothing,believe me.

ils sont venus 3 fois aujourd hui. La 1ere fois, ils ont meme pas frappe. Les 2 autres fois, a peine 1 knock, j ai meme pas eu le temps d ouvrir moi meme.

J habite pas un palace, alors ca signifie que pendant les plages horaires qu ils m ont donne plus de sieste, plus de bain, plus de popo?

Ou alors faut que je m enferme toutes les fois ou je me change ou autres?

Que je mette toutes nos affaires sous cle?

ok, les gens viennent visiter mais qui me dit qu en voyant une bague ou un ipod traine, ca va pas aller direct dans la poche?

et je les connais moi, ces gens la? ils ne me presentent meme pas de carte.

est ce normal que je ne puisse pas changer la serrure de chez moi, sans permission? Qui a mes cles? les employes de l agence? les anciens employes de l agence? leurs copains?

je viens d etre menacee au tel par un gars qui a mes cles et la police dit ne pouvoir rien faire; Je devrais me sentir en securite la, chez MOI?

 

On n avait pas refuse. On a meme accepte qu ils viennent pendant qu on etait en vacances, on leur a seulement demande de nous prevenir 24Heures avant. Et ca ne suffit pas?

I agree mate!! Pretty doesn't sound good for a man,as a matter of fact you can not use the word pretty for a man.
