Hi mamidovitch,

You know, I have created this topic to improve my english because I don't use it daily so I'm loosing it.....I'm trying to do my best by consulting some english learning sites like this one: englishtown.com

You subscribe and you will receive daily lessons, I think it's interesting...There are other methods to learn and improve your english as watching movies, reading books..etc

Good luck

That's a very good initiative moolight!

And so, have you found that it helps, chatting in english here?

One thing that is very good, to keep you english ear active is to watch TV in english. It's very easy nowadays with DVD's and the internet to watch movies, TV shows, news, videos in english. :D

If I may,

I never met a foreigner, except the French, who dares correct

typing mistakes or stuff like that.:D

Specialy when she/he is not asked to..

Hi samirovsky... :)

I know you don't like me, and so you always try to twist my sayings to make them seem bad and wicked.

It also seems you have a problem with French people.

But correcting someone when they specifically wrote that they created this thread for the purpose of learning and improving the language, then correcting is not an act of condescension, or arrogance like your blown out ego seems to think. It is an act of group help. If I make a mistake she will correct me, and so on. Accepting that we don't know everything, that we are learning, that we are not perfect, is what allows us to improve.

Maybe you are a mean person, so you see meanness everywhere, but this is not the case. I don't feel stupid when i ask question about Arabic language or Algerian culture here, and i do not think the people who answer me feel superior to me. We are just exchanging knowledge. So I apply that friendly exchange when someone asks to improve, and I can help.

Now you can also refer to this post of hers to see for yourself:

Thank you.

After that, you can think whatever you want of me. I don't really care :)

It feels like it because you are always picking apart my messages and interpreting them like I mean to do bad things.

Thank you for the vote, I won't say anything else you wouldn't appreciate it ;)

What are you talking about for God sake :ranting:

I'd always dreamt to use this expression, does someone know what does it mean SAKE

for one's sake, means for one's love, merit, interest. In French, you would translate the expression " For God's sake" by "pour l'amour de Dieu"

:)
