That's my way of seeing it too...besides the fact the african leaders tend to keep the power for themselves as long as they can...

It could be interesting to have the timespan as president for each of em.

Presidency for life! But, frankly, I don't blame them. They are powerless nations deprived of real sovreinty for the most of them.

Moubarak, Ben Ali (or even our president who I do not necessarily dislike...for the moment), not to mention subsaharan countries, couldn't have made it without the support of the "big democracies"!

It's in the best interests of the western world to keep it that way (just look at the imf interventions and loans all around the world) , knowing that should also contribute to change things but it seems people don't want the situation to evolve.

Democracies are only good to themselves, they don't intend to help others but only their citizen, you can't really blame em for that...

I'm not blaming them for helping their citizens, it's their job! What bothers me the most is the way they treat other countries. Their meddling in other's internal affairs is unacceptable and goes against what their nations pretend to be and to promote.

Besides this, I've always wondered why western citizens do not demonstrate against the turmoils their governments create worldwide. They perfectly know it and do nothing!!

Well, I thought this was an algerian forum. And, in case you're not aware of it, Algerians do not speak this language And In case you were no aware of it we are Algerians and till now I, you and many others undertand this language, I would prefer if we start to be much more confident in what Algerians are able of, Moreover, I would say that it is not the best way to make us better to just accept that we cannot be better than who we are now, So if any one does not understand it is up to him to reach the requested level and not for the Pionneers to drop to them :D

To answer your question: yes, I think it shouldn't be Why? If it´s a matter of language I think I have already clarified the thing:).

My clarifications regarding your answer:rolleyes:

Should we be suprised? No, at all. These leaders are here only because the others, the yougest you listed at the end, want them to be.

May be, but We shall stop also saying that everything is because of the others, we should start saying....Well may be we are worst than the youngest others, because the youngest have their reasons (They are looking for the best way to make their citizen´s life a better one) But what is the excuse of the aged ones? and worst what is our excuse?:)

Speaking english does not necessarily mean you're better. I think that I made my point clear here on the forum: Algerians should start being good in their own language before any other one. That's how things should be, and go.

Algerians need to be better in their mother country and mother tongue. Only then they can pretend being better in what is foreign to them.

But unfortunately...

Things aren't that simple. The "oldests" are not but dolls the "yougests" joyfully play with. The Iraq war is the perfect example of how the "yougests" depose governments that do not follow their orders and policies. They get into extremely deadly and destructive wars to get what they want.

I wouldn't agree on the citizens keeping it quiet, there has always been demonstrations in the western world from the people being against the foreign politics of their governments and there always been hypocrites playing the double standards and there always been the "sheeples" , I wouldn't put everyone in the same bag ;)

Well...things should go far beyond and demonstrations are not as massive and threatening as they should be, compared to the damages the governments cause throughout the word.

Don't forget that hundreads of people die because the western "democracies"'s agents and secret services are around.

It's easy to quietely walk the Champs Elysée or Washington avenues and go home while bombs are dropped on the streets of other countries.

absolutely, we are talking of the survival of the fittest, no point denying it...but be sure the wheel keep on turning and one day soon enough the western world will loose his supremacy to a fittest (my guess is china in the next decades...). did I say I'm a cynical ? :D

not yet, wait for the end of the monetary crisis first,

china already got the US (therefore europe as well) by the balls and don't intend to let it go :mdr: nor want to accept quietly the competitive devaluation of the western world (as china owns most of the US debt)

ok it's almost done :D

Speaking english only no, but trying to use the best way to get knowledge is, and I don´t think that it is exclusive: Means that to be good in Arabic or Berber shall implicate stopping to be good in others application....
