Would you deny the fact that some Algerians are very close to France, its culture, it's language and therefore want Algeria to go on the footsteps of this country at every level?

I am not french near french resident, but i dont find any problem to be open in other languages and cultures,,, see China for example or japan or Scandinave country, may some Scandinave country like Norway, Sweden, speek fluently english better than some english or brithish people themsels

Ask yourself the good questions instead of making stupdi comparisons: why did the majority of the Berbers adopt the arabic language as their mother tongue?

The fact that Algeria is independent since 1962 after a brave anti-french revolution doesn't mean that there are not some people who we can easily label as "francists". For instance, many of algerian french-speaking journalists are very close to France and it's "spirit". Furthermore, they defend its interests and every thing that is french.

 

On the other hand, I think that there is a big difference between being open to foreign languages and promoting a foreign language. You will not see a Chinese journalist defending English instead of Mandarin. Or a German doing it for English against German, and so on.

You are not in a war. According to the last news, the Algerian Embassy in Tripoli, has been attacked, Algeria accused without interruption, etc. All this during a France-led war.
