Guest Serena1 Posted September 1, 2013 Partager Posted September 1, 2013 Thanks for sharing:D Are you an MIT student?:D The beauty of it all is the unconditional use of gray matter (intelligence) regardless of who you are, where you come from or your race... This eminent professor is not (as you can tell from his accent) a native American...yet he made it through with his IQ in one of the world's most prestigious universities. :) Citer

Couscous Nomade 10 Posted September 1, 2013 Partager Posted September 1, 2013 Optimism ^ Don't put yourself down,Kowalski There are people on this very forum who would gladly do that for you. Most of MIT teachers weren't MIT students to begin with. Don't give up your dreams for you can still join as a teacher. Chomsky graduated from Philly University and joined as a teacher later on,so there is that too. Citer
hurlevent 10 Posted September 1, 2013 Partager Posted September 1, 2013 MIT is the best because they are sponsored by the biggest companies in the world. They have the best labs and can afford to hire the cream of teachers from all over the world. Citer
Guest Serena1 Posted September 1, 2013 Partager Posted September 1, 2013 Absolutely true. There's also Harvard, Yale, Stanford and Columbia that are prestigious too to name a few. Karl Sagan was at Cornell University. http://www.cornell.edu/ Kowalsky keep working hard..you never know what lies ahead. Never lose hope. Amen to that. Citer

Well, then I guess it's up to you to decide for nothing is impossible IMO,besides most of American universities have a diversity program which means you still can make it to one of the top universities in the country for the mere fact of being a foreign student. Anyways, here is a very inspiring story about a homeless that made it to Harvard. PS:I also was moved by Ben's story. Citer
