What did you tried? and why have you been hit on?

I didn't try jackshit.I was at a my friend's and simply went to a Hamman after a workout, and no in case you're wondering I wasn't completely naked.I had still my boxers on,yet everybody was staring at me like I was some sort of an alien. There was this particular dude who approached me and asked whether I knew how to massage or not and my initial response was :"I am no expert but I think I can try".

While the naive person that I am was tying his best, the other guy was simply chilling out and trying to flatter my ego by saying that I have delicate hands. :mdr:

I didn't overreact, actually I have even giggled and said gently but firmly that I wasn't the guy he think I was.

He apologized latter on but still had to tell me about his ex :D he even wanted me to meet him in a local cafe right afterwards,I had to lie by saying:" sure I'll be there" hehhe

I am not homophobic, but I think this was a little edgy and I certainly don't want to be butt-raped .:D

Thank for the anecdote. You should be a homo-attractive like a lure :D

It was at Laghouat?

It's not a rule, have you never seen a bearded gay? :D

It's not about hairs, but the voice, the behavior and the body movements.

Seriously, they are sick, as soon as they see another person different than themselve, they take him for an a...hole.

Since i grew, i always meet my friends, my neighbour, my family on the hammam especially in the winter.

But it's true, they go alongside the hammams. they choose the hammam and the right time to find what they are looking for.

I am not sure about it,but as far as I am concerned the stereotypical Algerian gay man is effeminate.

I am also pretty aware of the fact that this isn't always the case.

Look-wise, the guy didn't seem gay at all,in fact he looked just like your average Joe.

Sometimes I think that I am socially retarded because I am not always good at figuring out people, but I seem to be doing very well outside of public baths. :D

You're scaring the crap out of me,not!!! :D

Just to clear things up,I seldom go to public baths because I have a respiratory condition. It has absolutely nothing to do with theses places being associates with homosexuals.

crap out...I m happy to learn english with you :o

I only tried to explain why this man thought you were gay

In Algeria, gays could only do meetings in not official places

That was meant to be a joke anyways. :D

You're doomed to have a clandestine sex life,it doesn't matter whether you're gay or straight in Algeria. We're all on the same boat. :D

Extramarital sex is still a taboo !
