why do we get bored ?!

I really don't understand the human nature, ... I've been studying for 8 months successively, and I've just finished my final project and graduated, .. my adviser asked me to write 2 papers ( deux articles ) and feel like I run out of energy, I can't even write one page !!

this is weird, ... why after a long time of work the human get bored ?!! and he runs out of enthusiasm and creativity !

Is getting bored good for the human health or something ?! , and is there any medication to overcome boredom ?

We usually get bored when:

We get tired physically

lose interest

lack of motivation

nothing to look forward to

===========================

Try the following to overcome the feeling of boredom:

Get some rest

regroup

restructure your life

do your prayers on time and read the Holy Coran

eat well

rejuvenate

you will see the difference incha Allah.

Well,I have read a couple of articles about the phenomenon on Psychology.com,and have watched an interesting Youtube video.

There are some hypothesis out there and most of them fall within the realm of evolutionary psychology .

I have been struggling with depression and experiencing boredom every since I was a child,in fact I think that part of it has to do with my low serotonin levels,on the other hand,I quickly lose interest in anything or anyone that doesn't intellectually stimulate my brain .

If I had to make an educated guess I would say that you're probably bored because the two papers aren't stimulating enough ,or maybe you just take your teacher for granted .

you're right about this point, ... the two papers are extremely boring, because I have just to translate what I wrote in the thesis in French to English, .. so there's no motivation at all !
